Volunteers will be asked to fan out across designated areas to pick up litter in streets, alleyways, parks, parkways, and other public places. Participants will also be notified to take note of any other community beautification needs that should be reported to City staff, such as graffiti, bulky items, or other issues. Residents, businesses, neighborhood watch groups, Advisory Boards and Commissions, and other community members are all encouraged to participate. The City is partnering with Athens Services and Block by Block Ambassadors. City staff members will also participate and will be available to respond to questions from community members.

People of all ages are welcome to participate, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers are encouraged to register in advance by visiting volunteer.weho.org. All registered volunteers will receive confirmation and check-in details.
